The latter, following differences of opinion regarding the future organizational structure of the Group, has in fact decided to leave Rehau on December 31, 2021, embarking on a new career path. Veit Wagner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Rehau Group, commenting on Christensen's decision and thanking him for his work, said he regretted his choice. "Under his leadership as CEO," he said, "the group's process of divisionalization has been successfully pursued while improving profitability".
More changes at the top
Böhlke will assume the role of CEO starting in 2022. "With his proven track record as COO," said Veit Wagner, "Böhlke has effectively developed our manufacturing network. We are delighted that he has accepted the position of CEO and are confident that he will be able to further expand Rehau Industries, together with the other members of the Board of Directors."
As of January 1, 2022, there will also be another change within the Supervisory Board of Rehau Automotive: Raimund Klinkner will take over as Chairman, while Stefan Girschik, former CEO of the polymer raw material distributor Meraxis, also part of the Rehau Group, a polymer specialist, will join. Both Klinkner and Girschik have been active in the automotive industry for many years.
