The new line of water-based wood varnishes Iridea BIO for interiors will be featured at the Fuorisalone in Milan with the exhibition “IDEA - The Design Supermarket“.
From 17 to 22 April the exhibition will be staged at Superstudio Più - SuperDesign Show in Via Tortona 27, Milan.
Curated by Danish designer Niklas Jacob, “IDEA - The Design Supermarket“ is a fun exhibition that wants to make an ironic tribute to the Swedish giant IKEA through the exhibition of creative projects to do-it-yourself assembly, made by 18 designers coming from 6 different countries.
These are ironic and unconventional furnishing objects: an antisocial table called Chatt and a table for those on a diet, the podium for egocentric Grandiös, the closet to hide the lover, the bookcase for just one book, the spare wheel that can be assembled and others.
Iridea BIO water-based paints
All the items have been painted with Ica's Iridea BIO water-based varnishes. Iridea BIO is the first paint in the world to be built without oil and with a production cycle with a very low environmental impact. Ica's BIO water-based paints are produced with non-toxic and ecological renewable raw materials (water plus BIO resin), with a very low VOC content (volatile organic compounds) and whose production cycle drastically reduces CO2 emissions.
“Every company has to face the problem of how much impacts on the planet - said President Sandro Paniccia - our bio paint is the result of 3 years of research and is the demonstration that even in a sector like the chemical one can follow the path of environmental sustainability“.
The presence of ICA at the Milan Fuorisalone with this eco-sustainable event wants to be a different way to communicate the new ICA product and its green characteristics.
