ICA Group has participated to Interzum 2017 in Cologne with a stand as mandated by “Paint out of the box“, where visitors could get inspiration for the design of the environments of the future.
Iridea BIO, center of attention, the line of indoor wood varnishes made with resins of waste natural substances. It is a bio-innovation in the sector of varnishes that points to environmental sustainability through the use of 40% of raw materials from “waste“ natural substances. Varnishes realised by ICA Group are available both in transparent version and with natural effect, both in pigmented version with many possibilities of colour variations. They have hardness, chemical resistance and light resistance and workability, similar to industrial oil-derived products.
Confirming the innovation of Iridea Bio the assignment of the prestigious award Interzum Award: Intelligent material & design category, withdrawn by Lorenzo Paniccia R&D - Technical Manager and Piero Paniccia R&D - Technical Director of ICA Group.
In the ICA Group stand, visitors could see some panels on which it had applied the new Iridea Bio, but also Antiche armonie, the new colors inspired by italian rural life, a mix of colors for wood with soft tones which goes great with modern décor enhancing the warmth of wood.
Among the new lines presented, an expansion of Urban matter with effects applicable on wood and always trendy.
