The AvanTech YOU drawer system from Hettich was created with a clear objective in mind: to offer a tool for maximum customisation and to best express the furniture manufacturer's brand characteristics and philosophy.

Developed on Hettich's innovative platform concept, AvanTech YOU is a unique solution on the market for designing drawers with more than 20,000 different combinations of colours, formats and materials to give kitchen and living area furniture a distinctive character.

The drawer therefore no longer has the sole function of containing objects, but now becomes a real selling point for manufacturers and a stylish detail for the end customer.

The illuminated signature, a stylish detail

To give an extra boost to the drawer's design, Hettich has developed a visually striking optional extra: the 'light signature'. It is an LED lighting system that emphasises the drawer profiles, adding an attractive detail to the square, modern design of the structure. The LED can be integrated into the drawer side by means of a simple clip-on assembly. The homogeneous light of the 4000 K LED illuminates the open drawers from the inside or creates light spots on the outside. The light interacts with the polished or satinised edge of the glass inlays, creating special optical effects. The necessary energy is provided by a rechargeable power supply to avoid unsightly and complicated electrical connections.

An award for impressive design

The AvanTech YOU drawer system with the light signature convinced the juries of major international awards, winning the Interzum Award 2021 in the High Product Quality category, the Red Dot Design Award 2022 for its highly customised design, and finally the iF Design Award 2022.
