Rehau Furniture Solutions is presenting at Sicam 2023 (Pordenone, 17-20 October 2023) brand new product collections with coordinated design and technological innovations designed to create furniture that is perfect in every respect. In Hall 5, at stand E10/F11, manufacturers, interior designers, carpenters and architects will find all the innovations and smart services offered by Rehau under the slogan 'Enabling Exceptional Design'. 

Inspiration, ideas and innovative materials 

Turning visions into exceptional design projects requires inspiration, ideas and innovative materials: As a specialist in furniture design components, Rehau offers a wide range of solutions in surfaces, edges and storage elements that combine aesthetics and functionality, ensuring a consistently perfect design match between the different product families. A holistic approach to furniture design, which also extends to the procurement process for a complete service particularly appreciated by customers.

RAUKANTEX edgings: the evolution continues 

For over 50 years a benchmark for edging innovation, the RAUKANTEX range continues to offer innovative collections, characterised by additional functionality and sustainability, and with smart services, the result of technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of materials. RAUKANTEX pigment, lumina and folding, are just some of the new products that Rehau will be presenting at Sicam, together with options for digital printing of extended repeats of decors, supported by an exclusive interactive presentation. 

RAUVISIO surfaces: new applications 

Inspired by the Passion for colour 2023 collection and the six new colour trends reminiscent of the world of spices, the Rehau stand displays important range updates, including the fire-protection-certified RAUVISIO innara surfaces, which are ideal for public buildings or the health sector. Also new are the RAUVISIO noir surfaces, which, thanks to a specially coordinated laser-cut edging solution, allow for perfect interior doors. As a compact panel, RAUVISIO noir surfaces open up new applications such as tables and counters.

Two new roller shutter concepts 

For the Rehau Furniture Solutions division, Sicam is also an opportunity to preview two innovative roller shutter solutions: the new FLIPDOOR 2 slat mechanism and the new fabric and felt finish for the RAUVOLET systems. 

Rehau's sustainable commitment 

Increasing the percentage of recycled materials used, continuously searching for alternative raw materials and increasing the use of renewable energy sources globally: these are key points of Rehau's sustainable commitment. 

As of 2020, the company has already chosen to supply 100% clean energy to all its European plants where its edgings are manufactured and is currently working on building solar parks to achieve energy autonomy at many of its European sites. 

This commitment has, of course, also translated into the development of sustainable product lines, including RAUKANTEX eco edgings, composed of 50% recycled material from post-industrial waste; RAUKANTEX evo edgings, made using non-fossil raw materials instead of crude oil, and the only product on the market with ISCC PLUS certification; and RAUVISIO eco.fino surfaces, whose panel is made of 98% recycled materials. Furthermore, with the new ReTurn recycling concept, applied to ABS and PP edgings, Rehau Furniture Solutions takes another step towards closed-loop production.
