Rehau, a leading company in the design and manufacture of components for the furniture industry, has launched at Sicam 2019 Flipdoor, a new serrantina system that combines aesthetics and functionality.
The new Flipdoor system from Rehau offers manufacturers and interior designers a sophisticated design solution to meet the ever-increasing demand for customization in furniture production.

A smooth surface with elegant visual continuity

Equipped with an innovative patented mechanism that allows smooth movement and guarantees practical use, the Flipdoor furniture shutter system integrates perfectly into the kitchen environment, but can also be a furnishing element for the living area and for furniture for commercial establishments.
Thanks to the mechanism integrated in the front panel, without mechanical parts or protruding edges, Flipdoor offers a smooth surface with elegant visual continuity that, when opened, reveals a structure with staggered slats. The slats slide up smoothly and require minimal depth at the front.

Design coordinated with furniture fronts

In order to guarantee a design coordinated with the fronts of the furniture, especially in the kitchen, the Flipdoor lamellas are also made of Rauvisio crystal, the Rehau glass effect surface characterized by maximum resistance to scratches and shocks, extreme ease of cleaning and soft toch painting.
The pre-assembled Flipdoor component is supplied ready to use for assembly and is available in widths of 600, 900 and 1000 mm and heights of 650 and 780 mm.
The individual elements can be easily replaced in the event of damage or, entirely, to change the colour. There is a wide range of colours ranging from the standard colours of the Rauvisio crystal variants White, Piano, Graphite, Pearl and Titanium, in glossy and matt versions, to the monochrome combinations of the special programme.
