Aesthetic continuity in the kitchen exists and speaks the language of Laminam's Gemini collection . In fact, the company specializing in the production of high-quality ceramic surfaces presented at Sicam 2024 the new Concept Kitchen in total-look Gemini Acero, designed by designer Andrea Federici. The innovative design proposal enhances the versatility of ceramic surfaces, applied on doors, wall tiles, tops, interior accessories, and drawer linings.

A Gemini Maple total-look kitchen
Among the distinguishing aspects of Andrea Federici's Concept Kitchen is the use of twO surfaces by Laminam, which, thanks to their mere 2mm thickness, can be curved, transforming the ceramic slab from a two-dimensional to a three-dimensional material. Thanks to the lightness of twO, the doors and drawer fronts were also covered.
The aesthetic continuity of Laminam then extends to all the other areas of the kitchen where, using Gemini Acero in different thicknesses, it was also possible to make tops, cutlery racks, internal drawer linings and even the spice box, demonstrating that design can be “free” and adapted to different needs.
Some parts of the sink, on the other hand, are covered with Keyboard, size 333x200mm, a new modular decorative element composed of the juxtaposition of very thin slats that gives dynamism to the whole project..
Andrea Federici and Laminam: a creative collaboration
Andrea Federici, founder of Andrea Federici Consulting, stands out for his ability to integrate aesthetics and functionality, with cutting-edge solutions.
In 2018, the designer began a collaboration with Laminam, which he considers a reference point in the panorama of ceramic coverings. “Its pioneering approach,” says Andrea Federici, ”both aesthetically and technologically, is a key element in my creative process and represents a valuable ally in my continuous search for evolution and innovation in the field of design.
This design approach makes it possible to create a harmonious and coherent environment, where each element integrates perfectly with the others. An innovative proposal, which highlights Laminam in a strong and distinctive hue, chosen to anticipate the furnishing trends of the coming years: Maple is in fact the brightest and most sophisticated shade in the Gemini collection, a hue, rich and vibrant, that transfers to wall coverings and furnishing projects the inspiration to the natural elements from which it originates.
Innovation and design for the furniture industry
Laminam also presented at Sicam a range of innovative products designed to meet the technical and aesthetic needs of the furniture industry. Laminam ceramic surfaces are ideal for a wide range of uses, from interior furnishings to exterior cladding, thanks to their durability, versatility and beauty.
