At the last Salone del Mobile, Laminam presented twO, a new brand of ultra-thin, lightweight and sustainable ceramic surfaces that can create versatile, original and creative solutions.

Research and technology: a winning combination

With twO, Laminam reduces thickness to just 2mm thanks to industry technological innovation. In fact, constant technical research and pioneering application know-how have paved the way for the creation of these ultra-thin and ultra-light surfaces that nevertheless maintain the technical and aesthetic performance of Laminam products, expanding their areas of use and covering new potential market areas. They also offer flexibility, ease of cutting, ease of use on the construction site and, last but not least, ease of transportation.

TwO: a sustainable choice

Laminam once again puts sustainability at the heart of its strategic development vision, translating it into surfaces created from recycled and fully recyclable materials. A conscious choice that is reflected in the various stages of the value chain, from material sourcing, to production, to transportation to the end customer. 

The use and production of twO has, in fact, a positive environmental impact on the entire supply chain, where more than 70 percent of the company's carbon footprint contributions will be recalculated downward thanks to a lighter and less bulky product. 

In addition, the thin thickness allows for an optimization of the entire product life cycle: the cooking phase is faster and occurs through the use of all-electric ovens powered by the photovoltaic park, and transportation is reduced given the significantly lower overall weight.

Gemini Collection: dialogue between Man and Nature

The parent of the new twO brand is the Gemini collection, a profound dialogue between Man and Nature, where Earth and Man work together in perfect synergy. 

The Gemini collection, with its Light, Leather, Sky, Ash, Wheat, Maple, Moss and Flora variants, offers materials inspired by the natural world, its colors and textures, a tangible connection with the ecosystem that is best expressed in these new surfaces.

The Luce surface features a shade that pays homage to the primordial source of life, interpreted in a delicate pastel color that radiates serenity in rooms. 

Pelle is the shade in the Gemini collection that celebrates the intimate bond between man and the Earth, an antique pink hue with earthy tips. The Cielo shade lies between shades of light blue and gray; pleasant to the touch thanks to its finish, it is characterized by a special resistance and fits easily into residential and commercial settings. Cenere addresses surface design and the world of furniture for dynamic, lived-in environments, where beauty blends with the practicality of a dark, warm shade. A warm color with peaks between beige and hazelnut, Grano is the ideal choice for those seeking a safe but impactful color solution. Maple is the brightest, most sophisticated yet delicate shade in the Gemini collection, while Musk is a full, intense and enveloping color. Finally, Flora, composed of two modular designs, is a decorative element that speaks the language of delicacy and sophistication.
