Rehau Interior Solutions' sustainable approach continues with the introduction of Rauvolet eco, the new generation of dampers with reduced environmental impact.
Following the success of Raukantex eco edgings, Rauvolet eco dampers are designed to break new ground in furniture design and to meet the growing demand for sustainable quality components from manufacturers, carpenters, architects and interior designers.
Design, functionality and sustainability
Made of 100 percent recycled PP (polypropylene) from post-industrial waste purchased from certified suppliers, the new Rauvolet eco variant combines design, functionality and sustainability, offering the same look & feel as traditional shutter systems, but with reduced environmental impact. In fact, polypropylene products are returned to the cycle at the end of their useful life, reconfirming Rehau's contribution to a sustainable circular economy.
Certified sustainable quality
Customizable in finish to suit the needs of individual manufacturers, Rauvolet eco shutters are awaiting major certifications, including the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and the product-specific EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), attesting to its qualification as a component for the production of sustainable quality furniture.
The new Rauvolet eco shutters thus represent another step in Rehau Interior Solutions' global sustainability strategy, following up on the success of Raukantex eco edging solutions used in the world's most ambitious sustainable building projects, such as the UN17 Village in Copenhagen, which includes as many as 536 kitchens made with these edgings.
