In a very impressive booth that captured the attention of visitors, Rehau's Furniture Solutions division presented its updated product range consisting of surfaces, edges and shutters at Sicam 2024. Innovative materials that, by cleverly combining shapes and colors, make for perfect components to meet current market trends, offering maximum creative freedom in furniture design.
Rauvisio surfaces: new colors and decors
Rauvisio surfaces also expand design possibilities with new colors presented at the fair. Starting next year, the Rauvisio crystal surface collection offers five new color solutions declined in gloss and matte versions, which allow for interesting emotional effects: dark blue with green highlights, representing calm and stability; light blue to radiate brightness; a warm sand color, ideal as a natural base; light green for a touch of freshness; and terracotta to give the room a warm and delicate character. The award-winning Rauvisio crystal Deep collection with a slightly shimmering metallic effect is also enriched with three new colors-Moon, Peat and Earthy. Featuring warm, earthy tones, these surfaces blend harmoniously into a wide variety of living concepts.

The Luna finish, in particular, caught visitors' attention due to its ability to combine with Rehau's smart glass, the elegant Rauvisio noir matte surface and the new Rauvisio cube surface.
The latter surface, a novelty presented at Sicam, can reproduce the effect of concrete and is characterized by a distinctive surface finish that is always different in each panel.
Raukantex edges: innovation and flexibility
For more than 50 years, Raukantex edges have been synonymous with innovation and flexibility.
Among the latest examples of innovation is Raukantex pigment, which uses an innovative formula to reproduce the appearance of textured surfaces, such as ceramic, stone, wood and concrete, even in the milling radius, for a seamless, natural look. Raukantex folding, on the other hand, is Rehau's answer to the demand for handleless fronts: an edge that can be shaped in a variety of ways using the angular or soft forming process that allows for different edge shapes . In particular, the new premium Raukantex folding version is designed to make the most complex geometries such as J- and C-shapes, thanks to its unique formula that makes the material more flexible.
There was also a focus on sustainability at the booth with Raukantex eco & evo ecological edging solutions: recently awarded the German Innovation Award 2024, together with the Raukantex PP edging range, they now also meet the stringent requirements of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Finally, Rehau's circular economy approach applied to edgings includes the ReTurn recovery and recycling program.

Rauvolet and Flipdoor roller shutters: elegant and space-saving solutions
Rauvolet roller shutters were presented in a new sustainable guise: with the eco version, several profiles are now available in 100 percent recycled materials, made entirely of recycled PP from post-industrial waste, recovered and purchased by Rehau from certified external suppliers.
Visitors to Sicam were also able to discover the Flipdoor shutter system presented with a revamped slat mechanism that, from 2025, will be integrated into Rehau's standard supply program. This will enable furniture manufacturers and interior designers to take advantage of an elegant, space-saving solution that fits perfectly in any room, especially in combination with front panels and niches made with Rauvisio crystal surfaces. Fitting seamlessly into standard shells, Flipdoor is an aesthetically impactful and highly functional solution thanks to its unique opening mechanism.
