SAIB ready to face new challenges
SAIB, which has just celebrated 60 years of activity characterized by constant growth in both national and international markets, is preparing to face new challenges with an important development perspective in terms of production capacity and expansion of the product portfolio.
The Caorso plant will continue to be managed by the members of the family that owns SAIB, Giuseppe Conti, Clara Conti and Sergio Doriguzzi.
"The integration of our company into the international Egger Group" - affirm Sergio Doriguzzi and Giuseppe Conti, managing directors of SAIB, "is part of a development project that will bring advantages both for our production and for our employees and collaborators. We will be able to benefit from the experience and network of a large Group that has always focused on production improvement and the pursuit of product quality. Both companies were founded and raised by families and their common values, first of all the attention to environmental sustainability and trust in their collaborators, represent a solid basis for building a future based on continuity and innovation" .
Expand the company portfolio with innovative products
Egger, a family business founded in 1961 and now present all over the world, is a 360° supplier for the furniture, furnishing and coverings industry.
Both companies share a passion for a material that offers infinite possibilities for use and reuse, great attention to the needs of customers who are increasingly attentive to environmental impact and a drive towards the search for innovative solutions.
Thomas Leissing, spokesman for the management of the Egger Group, is very satisfied with the synergy of this acquisition. “Italy is one of the main furniture markets in Europe and SAIB one of the main suppliers of the Italian furniture industry. The acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of SAIB represents for us the possibility of expanding our portfolio with innovative and trendy products for the furniture and interior design industry".
