The next edition of Zow, the exhibition dedicated to supplies, components and semi-finished products for the furniture industry and interior design, will take place from 4 to 6 February 2020 in Bad Salzuflen, a city in the center of the furniture district of East Westphalia, one of the most important in the world.
It will be the second time of the event since Koelnmesse Gmbh, the organiser of the leading international trade fairs in terms of furnishing, living and living, acquired the event and decided to invest in this historic event.
“We believe very much in Zow - said Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italy - and we know that this fair can play a very interesting role for Italian companies interested in this market. Despite the economic situation, Zow is confirming its role especially among those interested in the world of kitchens, which has a strong presence of important producers in this part of Germany.
Exhibitors at Zow 2020
In recent days, the list of exhibitors participating in the 2020 edition has been made public and will be updated continuously until the opening of the event.
The Zow formula, which provides for small stands and therefore does not force exhibitors to make major investments in terms of fittings, is very much appreciated by participating companies.
In the “Materials & Nature“ segment, which will offer surfaces, wood, veneers, edges, adhesives, decorations, we find companies such as Alpi, Impress, Interprint, Hornschuch Continental, Möbelfolie Biesenthal, Gizia, Jowat, Kleiberit, Latho Components, Sherwin-Williams, Fritz Becker, HWB, Sperrholz Schweitzer, Danielmeyer, HQ-Leimholzprofi, LignaDekor or Swiss Krono.
The “Function & Components“ area already has a large number of qualified visitors who will be offering solutions for lighting, decoration, functional hardware, components and semi-finished products: for example, companies such as Domus Line, Kalb, Klebe, Thebo, Wessel in Hall 20, but also the best hardware manufacturers, including Arturo Salice, Siro, Camar, Cosma, Eureka, Vonsild, Weico, D-Beschlag, Furnipart, HAT Benix, Polimor, Scilm.
Among others, companies such as Paul Henke, Dirks, Eureka, Elco, Hailo, Oskar Lehmann, Multiprofil and Schüco International have long since confirmed their participation in Zow 2020.
ZOW 2020: more innovation workshop than product exhibition
Since the first edition in 1995, ZOW has been a special format, not only a trading platform, but also a workshop for innovation and a hotbed of ideas for suppliers and production companies, a place for seminars and meetings on interesting issues concerning the furniture industry. Also for the 2020 edition there will be a rich programme of events and in-depth analyses that will take place during the three days of the event, starting with the theme of “Tiny Spaces“, the small living spaces that are becoming more and more widespread, especially in urban contexts, which manage to maintain the quality of comfort and functionality unchanged, thanks to a series of products and solutions that make it possible to make the best use of the furnishings or to make them transformable for more functions.
Another theme on which the attention of operators will be focused with special presentations is that of “lightweight construction“, i.e. light construction to be applied in the furniture sector, a theme that has already been addressed for some time in other sectors, such as the automotive or aeronavale sectors, but which will also be extended to the field of design and furnishing.
Confirming the interest in Zow on the part of the kitchen makers, during the event will also take place the meeting of the working group “Technology and standardization“ of AMK (The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Die Modern Küche e.V.), the Association of German companies producing kitchens.
