Swiss company Swiss Krono AG has unveiled One World Collection 2024, its new interior trim collection consisting of 88 combinations of decors and finishes that reflect current trends and respond to the tastes of different countries.
As always, Ostermann made all matching edgings immediately available to joiners and craftsmen, available from stock in standard widths of 23, 33, 43 and 100 mm. On request, the 100 mm edges can be cut to any other width desired. For those craftsmen who have adopted zero-joint technology, the edges can be provided with a functional layer specially designed for each particular technology. All edge information for Swiss Krono's new One World Collection 2024 can be found on Ostermann's website.
Four furniture trends
To help users best choose and combine surfaces, Swiss Krono experts have outlined these four main furniture trends, assigning to each of them the decors that best represent them: The Me-Shed, Conscious Home, Playful Spaces, and Responsive Furniture.
The Me-Shed: relaxation and well-being
The first furniture trend was christened “The Me-Shed” by Swiss Krono referring specifically to the quest for relaxation and mental regeneration. In addition to many solid colors in various shades of matte green, we find numerous walnut decors. One surface definitely worth mentioning is the Art Deco Walnut decor with delicate golden lines that, by delimiting geometric walnut inlays, visually simulates a three-dimensional cubic structure. Ostermann has in its assortment the perfect ABS edge to match this decor. Another interesting surface is the Calm Walnut Brown decor, also a walnut decor, with a calmer pattern.
Conscious Home: nature and wellness
Swiss Krono named the second trend “Conscious Home,” an expression of the growing desire for closeness to nature. The collection reveals many bright, natural colors and materials: examples are the Coco Tweed Creme and Heyday Beige surfaces. Matching borders can already be found at Ostermann.
Playful Spaces: individuality and experimentation
The “Playful Spaces” trend features decors that purposefully go against the grain: combination of bright colors, different textures and material reproductions to create furniture with a cheerful and optimistic energy. Swiss Krono often uses the Terrazzo Fresh surface, a lively terrazzo effect decor. To achieve a special effect, Ostermann experts recommend pairing it with the Granit Grey solid-color border. By entering the names of the panels in the search field on Ostermann's website, you can receive the right advice for matching the border in just a few clicks.
Responsive Furniture: multifunctional environments
"Responsive Furniture" è la quarta tendenza caratterizzata da mobili modulari e flessibili che creano ambienti multifunzionali. La base di questo stile è costituita da tinte unite neutre e decori sobri che possono essere combinati tra loro in modo flessibile e armonioso. Per questi decori di Swiss Krono, gli esperti Ostermann consigliano di abbinare i bordi in ABS Stonetex Beige o Soft Chestnut Light.
