Schattdecor met with customers and visitors at Sicam 2021 in a bright and attractive booth where it presented its new decors and surfaces designed for multifunctional and versatile living spaces.
Research into "Resilient Habitats" and the new collection of designs, which were already on show in spring of this year, confirm the trends identified by Schattdecor whereby furnishing, architecture and decorations are moving towards softer, more pleasant solutions that lack strong contrasts and feature natural designs.
The focal point of the home, the kitchen has become a meeting place for the whole family and friends. Open and transparent design is the norm in living spaces, where areas for resting and relaxing coexist with areas for socializing or working in a concentrated manner thanks to integrated workstations.
Schattdecor's new decor collection is based on a new rustic, elegant authenticity with particularly natural and unobtrusive surfaces that are enhanced by refined, contemporary details.
The new decors presented by Schattdecor at Sicam 2021 are Firestone, Karlstad Oak, Castagno Gran Sasso, Valongo and Flagstaff Oak.
Impulsive, exciting, exotic: the decorative black marble Firestone was used as the eye-catcher in the kitchen cabinet at the center of the booth. The original material comes from Morocco. Striking ochre-colored veins run through its structure and cross the black-gray background leaving deep traces. The overall design is alive, just like molten lava, and the large layout shows all the variety of the original material.
Another material to always rely on is oak. Schattdecor's solid-wood imitation Karlstad Oak impresses with its design, fine composition and natural 3D effect. At Sicam, Schattdecor's Karlstad Oak imitation wood was presented in a new color that underscores its soft, rustic look.
The Castagno Gran Sasso also aroused great interest: its homogeneous and discreet design gives the room an elegant atmosphere.
The decorative Valongo starts with a slate, a rock that is created from clay or volcanic ash. The design impresses with its wavy, soft and balanced effect, allowing for a variety of uses and combinations. The structure can be further enhanced with bronze or silver effects, a metallic effect that adds value and elegance.
After its success at interzum @home 2021, where it was awarded the interzum award 2021, Flagstaff Oak confirms its notoriety. Effective splits accentuated by silver pigment give the oak design an unmistakable character. Used in furniture, it lends itself to sophisticated combinations. At Sicam, the Flagstaff Oak decor was exhibited in the Working Area, also in a new color.
