Ernestomeda: high quality and craftsmanship Made in Italy
Ernestomeda is a company specialized in the production of designer kitchens, Cleaf produces surfaces and innovative solutions for the furniture and interior design sector: two Made in Italy excellences that have found harmony to give life to this fruitful collaboration.
Alberto Scavolini tells how Ernestomeda was born in 1996 with a determined and ambitious project, that of making beauty accessible, guaranteeing high quality and above all Made in Italy craftsmanship. This objective was achieved thanks to the industrial capacity of a strong group such as Scavolini and to the meeting with the architect Giuseppe Bavuso, the company's current art director, which brought about a turning point in product conception.
The partnership with Cleaf
“The partnership with Cleaf - explains Alberto Scavolini - began about ten years ago and took a decisive turn in 2019, with the idea of developing solutions together that could make the most of our kitchens. The research and development teams of the two companies have began to confront each other assiduously. The decision to work closely together was particularly fundamental in tackling the difficulties that emerged with the historical scenario of the last two years".
Roberto Caspani, for his part, immediately accepted the challenge also because the Scavolini group represents excellence in the Italian kitchen sector and a company like Ernestomeda immediately proved to be the ideal partner for Cleaf: both companies have always focused their activity on technological and aesthetic research.
"Seeing our Riga and Poro Noce finishes applied to the Sign kitchen at Eurocucina gave me great satisfaction, the sign of our work together." - stated Roberto Caspani. "Having partners of this caliber is useful for having a different point of view on our surfaces".
High quality surfaces
As explained by Alberto Scavolini, the synergy between Cleaf and Ernestomeda has allowed, and still allows, to create high quality surfaces, capable of guaranteeing a surprising result in terms of aesthetics and materiality.
”The latest Cleaf, Riga and Poro Noce finishes, which we have introduced in combination with decorative papers developed ad hoc for us, are currently used in the Sign compositions. The Toucher finish was chosen to make the most of the internal parts of the kitchen". Research on surfaces in recent years has moved from the depth of finishes to the desire to obtain natural tactile sensations. "Next April at the Salone del Mobile.Milano we will present new surfaces in this direction" said Roberto Caspani.
