Catas, the most important European wood-furniture laboratory, to respond to the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, organised a web event entitled “Testing the experience“ on Thursday 10 December at 10 am. A virtual tour that allows not only to show spaces and structures of the laboratories of San Giovanni al Natisone (Udine) and Lissone (Monza and Brianza), but also to dialogue with technicians and operators who will answer live, through a dedicated chat, to questions and curiosities of those who will be connected.
A real journey through the Catas workshops
The idea of keeping Catas' doors open “online“, with images and conversations, in English, aims to show how the laboratory is organised, what equipment and technology it has available to carry out the various tests precisely and quickly. It also wants to show the state of the art in terms of regulations, certifications and testing methods for the many sectors in which it is involved. A real journey through the Catas laboratories, accompanied by Franco Bulian, deputy director of the laboratory, who will meet the people who work there, inviting them to talk about their work and share their skills.
“We are used to welcoming hundreds of people to our workshops“, says director Andrea Giavon, “and very often these are companies and groups that come to Friuli from all over the world, customers but also companies that want to work with us and above all want to see who and what we are, what we can offer“.
