The training and refresher events offered every year by Catas Academy are very popular and appreciated by operators in the sector and in order to be able to hold them during the health emergency, the Italian laboratory has decided to organise them via the web.  On the other hand, in this period it is thanks to the digital mode that many companies have also been able to turn their attention to the most pressing technical issues and continue to operate safely.

A full calendar of events for the wood-furnishing sector

Catas, Europe's leading testing laboratory for the wood-furniture industry, has been working on the quality of presentations for some time now, holding several meetings in English for its many partners from all over the world. It has also set up a real “webinarteca“ where those who were unable to attend live can always find all the contributions; Catas subscribers, on the other hand, can access them directly from the “myCatas“ area dedicated to them.
The 2021 calendar includes a rich number of appointments that can be further enriched with new events during the year to provide a quick and coherent response to the technical and regulatory news of the wood-furnishing sector.  
The courses are held by Catas technicians and experts with the strength of their expertise and experience built up in the various areas in which they operate: laboratory testing, participation in national and international standardisation forums, listening to and studying the needs and technical problems of companies.
Last year, 54 courses were organised for companies, operators in the wood-furnishing sector, training institutes and universities; more than 5 thousand views were gathered from the live courses available online. An intense and satisfying year, which ended with the special “Catas Virtual Tour“ event, watched live on 10 December by around 300 viewers from all over the world, which has now been viewed online by over 1,200 people.
