After 25 years of work at Schattdecor, Dieter Hüttlinger retired at the end of 2022. Hüttlinger worked at Schattdecor Germany and abroad and was responsible member of the Board of Directors for six years helping to shape the Finance area.
Roland Auer, Chairman of the Board at Schattdecor AG, said: “On behalf of the entire Executive Board and the Schatt family, we would like to thank Dieter Hüttlinger for his decades of commitment, his level-headedness and foresight. We wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life. At the end of the year, we say 'goodbye' to our esteemed colleague, full-blooded Schattdecorian and friend.”.
Derick Beitel, new Chief Financial Officer of Schattdecor
The company's Supervisory Board has appointed Derick Beitel, Head of Finance at Schattdecor since November 2021, as the new Chief Financial Officer and successor of Dieter Hüttlinger with effect from 1 January 2023.
Welcoming the new CFO, Roland Auer said: "We would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome Dr. Derick Beitel to the Executive Board of the Schattdecor Group. We already appreciated him as a highly qualified and valuable colleague in his function as Head of Finance and are now looking forward to working even more closely with him. We wish him a good start and every success in this new challenge as Chief Financial Officer at Schattdecor".
Derick Beitel, who has been active at Schattdecor since November 2021, previously worked for over 20 years in an international corporate group in the wholesale trade and in the area of Corporate Finance | BUT. Derick Beitel studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and McMaster University (Canada) and received his doctorate from the University of Witten/Herdecke. He is married and has two daughters.
