Grass's Nova Pro drawer platform has long since become the benchmark in the drawer industry for its excellent gliding characteristics, quiet operation and maximum reliability.

With Nova Pro Scala, Grass has given a whole new meaning to the term "system": in fact, Nova Pro Scala allows for a wide range of styles, functions and values that span all market and price segments, from entry-level to premium, offering designers, furniture makers and craftsmen a wide range of differentiation options.

Design and technology

Nova Pro Scala's design, with its distinctive lines, right angles and small radii, gives the double-walled metal drawers a timeless technical and functional elegance. Its formal rigour has also been awarded the German Design Prize for outstanding design.

Ivo Thaler, Head of Product Management at Grass, explains: "Nova Pro Scala is an economically attractive drawer system characterised by great versatility and optimal use of materials. To give designers complete freedom of design, the space for the technology has been reduced to a minimum, resulting in the unmistakable character of the Nova Pro Scala drawer. The tilt adjustment has also been optimised to fit into the "step", which is only 41 millimetres high.

Strips for a combination of materials

Made of powder-coated, laser-welded stainless steel, the Nova Pro Scala drawer rail becomes the drawer's defining element. In fact, thanks to its rectangular shape, the clean-lined metal design can be combined with customisable runners, for example with high-quality mineral resin surfaces or real wood finishes, offering many new design possibilities.

A unique glass option

In addition to drawer solutions in heights of 63, 90 and 122 millimetres, the Nova Pro Scala drawer platform also includes a variant with a geometrically linked railing and two closed pull-out shelves in heights of 186 and 250 millimetres. 

The range is rounded off by the large-surface, highly polished Crystal Plus glass, which provides maximum visibility inside the drawer.

Extremely easy assembly

The Nova Pro Scala drawer system has been designed with ease of assembly in mind. The reduced complexity of the parts ensures quick and easy assembly. 

Nova Pro Crystal Plus' pre-assembled glass supports make the job even easier by eliminating the need for gluing, drilling or clamping. Nova Pro Crystal Plus also features innovative clip-on technology - a few simple steps are all it takes to safely use the design components without tools. The modular front connector in the pull-out shelves ensures maximum stability with low part complexity, allowing easy interchangeability of drawers and pull-out shelves.

The steel back panel can be easily installed with an additional clip, while a sink back panel support allows for quick and easy construction of siphon-hole pull-out shelves.

Flexible organization systems

Tavinea Optima's flexible aluminum profiles allow you to divide high pull-out shelves according to different needs: simply clip on additional Smartboards and you can optimally divide the storage space. The same goes for Tavinea Sorto, the new system of internal drawer dividers made up of two frames and a crosspiece, available in different versions.

A system that is now childproof

Nova Pro Child Safety offers increased safety for children: the child safety device prevents unwanted access to drawer contents. The system is concealed and can be easily retrofitted.
