Furniture and kitchen manufacturers increasingly feel the need to respond quickly and flexibly to each individual customer, for whom they ask to be able to create custom-designed furniture.

The new AvanTech YOU drawer system

In the area of customisable drawer systems, Hettich has particularly highlighted its new AvanTech YOU platform. Hettich introduced the platform concept for drawer systems as early as 1996, and today the new AvanTech YOU drawer system offers an even richer solution by taking customer-specific design to the next level.

Design and customisation

The AvanTech YOU system allows you to customise the drawer in terms of colour, shape and material. Characterised by an extremely linear minimalist style in which the fastening and adjustment elements are no longer visible, the drawer has a thinner side of only 13 mm. The new platform is also very easy to adapt to the different needs of buyers: the drawer can be placed on two different slide systems without changing the drilling pattern and can flexibly meet the requirements of different application sectors and market segments.

Flexible solutions for different price segments

The flexibility of the AvanTech YOU platform means that all components can be combined. Milling on the bottom, hooked mounting and corner joints for wooden rear panels are no longer necessary for installation, saving time and money.
The drawers are available in three colours and five heights with steel, aluminium or wooden rear panels. The drawers are individually designed with stainless steel, chrome, aluminium, walnut and oak effect profiles and can be simply snapped on. To further enhance the drawers, AvanTech YOU offers “DesignCape“ in aluminium, either anodised or with a stainless steel effect.  Finally, for the inlay of the drawer you can use custom materials such as glass, wood, stone or any other material chosen by the customer.
