Elcam, a constantly evolving company in the padding sector, has recently renewed and upgraded its website in terms of both graphics and content.
The Lissone-based company wanted to emphasise its professionalism which is the result of decades of experience; in fact, since 1970 it has been working with carefully selected materials to create cushions and padding for indoor and outdoor furniture and for the nautical sector.
Not only professionalism, but also Research & Development, Innovation, Creation and Sustainability are the values at the heart of Elcam's work, enabling it to grasp new things and anticipate trends, finding ever more innovative ways of shaping the idea of comfort.
Constant search for excellence and innovation
The constant search for excellence and innovation can also be seen in the choice of machinery and materials and in the work processes. Approximately 2,800 cushions are produced every day by a team of innovation professionals, technology experts, creators of comfort.
Carefully selected natural and eco-friendly raw materials are processed to meet customers' needs and expectations.
Among the most recent innovative materials proposed by Elcam we find Bio, biodegradable and 100% recycled which, thanks to the innovative composition of its fibres, is able to guarantee excellent performance. Or Aerelle® Blue, a synthetic fibre, produced by Advansa and obtained by recycling plastic collected from the oceans and transformed into flakes that are processed to become soft, supple, comfortable fibres.
Certified sustainability
Elcam has always been attentive to sustainability, which it considers a value to be defended in the entire production process, from the materials to the machinery used. The basis of Elcam's work is in fact eco-friendly materials and years of research to develop innovative ways to re-use processing waste to make technologically advanced by-products.
The company's commitment is certified by the Safety Data Sheets for Hazardous Substance Testing, which state that Elcam uses only "certified and tested water-based glues". The company has also obtained the certification Greenguard, issued by UL Environment, which helps manufacturers to create and buyers to identify products and materials that release low chemical emissions.
