CIFM/interzum guangzhou, a benchmark for the furniture industry in Asia, returns in March 2025 with a focus on cutting-edge technologies, innovative materials and solutions for more efficient and sustainable manufacturing. The fair will take place from March 28-31, 2025, as part of the second phase of the 55th CIFF Guangzhou, at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou Pazhou, and will include three macro sectors: Machinery, Hardware and Materials.
Innovation engine for the furniture industry
Developing the theme “Engine of New Productivity Boosters in the Home Industry” this year, CIFM/interzum Guangzhou 2025 aims to be a laboratory of ideas and a business platform where solutions aimed specifically at improving production efficiency and customization stand out.
Three, we said, macro sectors: Machinery, Hardware and Materials. The Machinery section will showcase the most innovative solutions for woodworking, with a focus on automation, integration and smart manufacturing. The section dedicated to Accessories and Hardware will offer cutting-edge technologies and creative solutions, designed to meet the needs of a design that demands more and more customization and functionality.
Instead, furniture materials will take center stage in a space that brings together top Chinese and international brands. Indeed, the CMF Trends LAB_2025 will explore new aesthetic possibilities, offering inspiration to designers and manufacturers ranging from surface design to innovative solutions for custom furniture.
A global platform for industry leaders
Covering an area of nearly 180,000 square meters, the fair will host more than 1,500 industry-leading exhibitors, including more than 230 internationally recognized brands, presenting a full range of furniture manufacturing solutions.
Exhibitors include leading names in interior design such as Schattdecor, Impress, Interprint, LamiGraf, Match Graphics, Munksjö, RENOLIT and others. Renowned suppliers such as Baillie Lumber, Pollmeier and Pfleiderer in the Wood&Panels segment, as well as Boyteks, GTA and LIEN'A, in the Textiles&Materials segment, will present their latest sustainable and innovative solutions.
An evolving market
The furniture industry in China is in full swing, buoyed by favorable real estate policies, renovation of old furniture, and growing global demand. The figures speak for themselves: in October 2024 alone, furniture and component exports from China exceeded RMB 38 billion, registering a significant growth of 14.96 percent over the previous month; from January to October, total exports reached more than RMB 390 billion, an annual growth of 8.8 percent. As the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of home and office furniture, China has thus become an important focus for the industrial furniture supply market, attracting machinery manufacturers, raw material suppliers and end manufacturers.
Against this backdrop of renewed confidence in the market, CIFM/ interzum guangzhou 2025 presents itself as the benchmark event for intercepting trends and anticipating the future of the furniture supply chain, paving the way for new opportunities for manufacturers and designers from around the world. mondo.
