RAUKANTEX scratch.protect

RAUKANTEX scratch.protect is the new generation of edgebands featuring an ultra-fine structure, an anti-fingerprint and soft-touch effect for an extremely durable matt-look. These solutions impress starting from their stable and simplified processing, with no “smoothing out” of the edgeband surface by tracers or need of protective foils.

RAUKANTEX eco.protect

The RAUKANTEX eco.protect solutions, including the RAUKANTEX eco and RAUKANTEX evo edgebands, reflect REHAU's continuous commitment to making its products sustainable, without compromising the quality and the design. The former are made from 50% post-industrial recycled materials; the latter follow a different approach, using a mass balance PP based on non-fossil raw materials, unlike traditional polypropylene edgebands. RAUKANTEX evo is ISCC PLUS certified, guaranteeing traceability along the entire chain of compliance with the severe ISCC PLUS sustainability requirements during production.

RAUKANTEX pigmento

RAUKANTEX pigmento edgebands are studied for the textured surfaces trend: thanks to an innovative formula, the new pigmented milling radius edge reproduces the aesthetic and tactile appearance of various textures, such as ceramic, concrete or stone, even in chamfered areas. The result is a finished component with a frameless, extremely impact-resistant design.

RAUKANTEX folding

RAUKANTEX folding edgebands follow the trend toward harmonious front panel solutions, individuality, and modern interior design. This edgeband is made from polypropylene that can be shaped in various ways as part of the soft-forming process or angled edgebanding, allowing unique, handleless front panels to be created without any quality issues, such as paint cracks or stress whitening, for example. The possibilities of the filigree side-panel construction are also manifold. The result: durable, extremely robust components with ideal cleaning properties. The folding process – without previously carving the edgeband – is already state-of-the-art in the door industry. 

RAUKANTEX fire.protect

Made with halogen-free flame retardants, RAUKANTEX fire.protect edgebands are self-extinguishing solutions for wall coverings and furniture that meet the most demanding European fire protection directives, crucial in both the building and transport sectors. All without setting design limits: in fact, it is possible to choose among colours and decors, with freedom of design choice even with high thicknesses, thanks to the innovative composite test for edgeband, panel, and glue.

RAUKANTEX health.protect

RAUKANTEX health.protect antiviral edgebands prevent surface contamination in both household and hospital applications. Thanks to specially coordinated formulations and coatings offering superior protection against specific viruses, the effectiveness of these solutions is ISO 21702 compliant. The edgebands in the health.protect range are compatible with all surfaces currently on the market and are available in zero-joint effect technology version, which avoid the accumulation of dirt and deposits thanks to the seamless combination between edge and panel.
