The seventh edition of  Sicam (International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Semi finished products for  Furniture Industry) it ended with a meaningful success, an edition which has seen confirmed the optimistic forecasts of the eve. They have been in fact numerous selected visitors coming from different Countries who have crowded the stands during the days of the event of Pordenone. A visitor of high-level who has known how to appreciate the numerous innovative proposals introduced by the exhibitors, an attention which was especially addressed toward people with an high technological and design knowledges, they are able to answer to the increasing demands of the furnishing companies for the definition of a high quality and competitive level product on the international markets. The positive results of this edition of Sicam confirm the cautious optimism for the next commercial season that it has been already warned for some time among professionals of the sector. A situation of optimism also emphasised by the words of Carlo Giobbi, organizer of the fair. “This year we have recorded around 17000 operators, 35% from 96 foreign countries consolidating the already positive result of last year. Another important aspect concerns visiting companies, that this year they has been about 6.800. At first sight, we can say that both the presences of the tops Italian players and especially all the foreign participations have been reinstated, in witness of the format validity for the international furniture industry.“ The offered services have proved to be particularly efficient emphasising the organizational high-level of the event. The opening of the new parking has notably favoured and simplified the entry to Sicam, allowing the visitors to enter more easily and quickly in the Fair. A further contribution has been given by the opening of three points of access which have for the best distributed the operators’ flows inside the stands. The element that has represented the evolution of the Fair of this year, perhaps more than every other, it has been represented by the networking development that is recorded among the exhibitors stands, with a winning organizational formula: the high international presence of buyers and furnishings designers has made evident how much the effectiveness of Sicam is consolidated for opening in fair new business fronts for the firms. The appointment for the firms of components and accessories has already fixed for October 2016 when, from Tuesday 18 to Friday 21 Sicam will come up again to the international furniture company in Pordenone.
