Born from an idea by Federmobili Milano, the trade association of all the dealers in the provinces of Milan, Monza and Lodi, the MILANO GOOD DESIGN project is proposed as the new business network that collects and selects the most important furniture and design retailers of the Milan area, able to express the values and the contents which have always distinguished them from the other territorial areas: experience, quality, competence and competitiveness.
The aim of the project is to create a network of opportunities which can revive the most important sales pole of the furniture market and tell the culture, tradition and stories related to the world of Milanese design through the voice of its protagonists.
The sales centre is the one that develops in the territory of Milan, Monza and Lodi provinces, where there are more than 70 points of sale of the most historic and important brands in the sector, for a total of 100,000 square meters of exhibited products and over 250 sales engineers.
MILANO GOOD DESIGN mission will be an equal behaviour that regulates, in a transparent way, the relationship between sales point and consumer, with a commitment that will be shared with the management of Federmobili Milano. The birth of MILANO GOOD DESIGN also wants to be the answer to the growing diffusion of internet sales, which is putting at risk the existence of the Milanese retailers who cannot autonomously re-launch themselves.
MILANO GOOD DESIGN aims to raise the standards of customer service, in the name of quality and innovation. MILANO GOOD DESIGN strategic objective is to increase the competitive capacity of the participating sales points, demonstrating the will to return to being protagonists in the change in the furnishing distribution scenario.
MILANO GOOD DESIGN aims at guiding the consumer in the selection of the best showrooms, highlighting their profile, represented brands, offers and tailor-made project assistance services. An interactive web portal will also be created, consisting of an institutional website and a blog dedicated to the Milanese culture and history of design: www.milanogooddesign.com
