Hettich Vietnam, the first joint subsidiary of Hettich and FGV with the aim of offering customized solutions in the booming furniture manufacturing and distribution sector in Vietnam, was inaugurated in January.
“Hettich and FGV are two family-owned companies with similar roots; they share the same values and therefore wanted to join forces,“ said Uwe Kreidel, CEO of FGV-”Together we can draw on as many as 200 years of experience and expertise in the industry, and together we can offer our Southeast Asian customers real added value. Our presence in Vietnam represents an important milestone in our journey of shared success.”
Sharing innovations and experiences
This strategic investment in Vietnam indicates the Hettich Group's desire to expand and foster sustainable development in Asia's growth markets, while also continuing to set trends and drive markets in its category.
As Jana Schönfeld, CEO of the Hettich Group, explained, “Being present in this market is not enough for us. We want to become an integral part of the Vietnamese community and share the innovations and experiences that arise and mature in Germany and Italy.”
The importance of a local approach
The subsidiary in Vietnam will be tasked with selling both Hettich and FGV products, increasing sales opportunities and also fostering strong partnerships with reputable local companies. “In a fast-developing market like Vietnam, it is important to know the local conditions well"-said Matthias Bertl, managing director of Hettich Southeast Asia. - “That's why Hettich Vietnam is the only supplier that distributes innovative products of unprecedented quality, complemented by comprehensive support services for professionals, with the aim of jointly developing solutions to improve the lifestyle of consumers throughout the country. As it expands its distribution channels nationwide to improve visibility and promote growth through strengthened partnerships with retailers, Hettich Vietnam goes to great lengths to get closer to local design and furniture realities, as well as homeowners, to provide them with innovative and functional solutions that meet market preferences on the ground.”
A range of quality products
The two family-owned companies, Hettich and FGV, both offer a wide range of furniture hardware products that are perfectly complementary to each other and solutions that meet every need of their customers in a variety of market segments.
