IFA, the most important European trade fair dedicated to the world of technology, also had to adapt to the needs caused by the Covid-19 emergency: the 2020 edition saw the major technology brands present their innovations in a series of power briefings from 3 to 5 September.
On 3 September, Haier, the world leader in the household appliances market, was presented to the press with the introduction of new services and platforms and the launch of important new products for the Haier, Candy and Hoover brands.
Product innovations for the Group's various brands
Yannick Fierling, CEO of Haier Europe, presented the innovations in the IOT ecosystem, which include important innovations in the management of technology platforms and the introduction of new partnerships; he also launched new appliances and solutions offered by the Group's brands.

Haier's built-in 4 Series range and connected wine cellars
Haier has officially unveiled the new Series 4 built-in range, the first and only range of appliances fully driven by Artificial Intelligence. “Artificial Intelligence Inside“ is in fact the claim that accompanies the launch on the European market of a complete range of ovens, microwaves, hobs, hoods, refrigerators and dishwashers that take advantage of connectivity and AI to offer tailor-made solutions and surprising results, integrating perfectly into modern kitchens with their elegant and minimalist design.
IFA 2020 was also the ideal scenario to launch the first connected Mono Zone and Double Zone wine cellars on the market, created to enrich and complete the premium range that led Haier appliances to market leadership.

Candy continues its search for appliances and solutions that can simplify the everyday life of consumers and presented a preview of Nova, the new connected washing machine able to offer high level performance, numerous washing programs and useful tips for the user, all within reach of smartphones.
Hoover: cleaning and care of the home and the environment

The new hOn app wins the Red Dot Award 2020
hOn, the new integrated digital solution offering a single centralised access point to control and manage home appliances from all Haier Europe brands to their full potential, has been awarded the Red Dot Award: Brands&Communication Design 2020.
The important international recognition in the world of design assigned to the Haier Europe App rewards the desire to offer not only a useful and satisfying user experience, but above all to create a true ecosystem that puts people and their needs at the centre. Launched in May 2020, hOn will be progressively introduced on all the Group's household appliances.
