The first eco-sustainable solid surface 100% made in ItalyNicos International has created Cristalplant biobased, an innovative material made of 50% from minerals and the remaining 50% polyester bioresin. Can be defined as the first solid surface eco-friendly, because it arises from resinous raw materials of vegetable origin mixed with mineral natural aggregates of extreme purity. The characteristics that make it a full-fledged eco-friendly product are manifold. First, 30% of the resin used, which previously was of fossil origin, was replaced by polyesters of vegetable nature arising from certified cultivations. This has allowed Cristalplant biobased even get certified GMO-free: more than 12% of the substances which constituted derived from vegetable starch and corn that do not contain genetically modified organisms (the lower limit equal to 5%). 50% of the composition obtained dallidrato of aluminum recovered from the processing of bauxite for the extraction dellalluminio same. Cristalplant biobased can also be recycled and reused at the end of life as inert. It 'very light, its specific gravity is in fact reduced by 30%: it results in a lower production of CO2 and easier to move and install. It '100% restored with surface scratched, stained or burned, flame retardant, with a certification of fire resistance class 1. 100% made in Italy, the new eco-friendly solid surface marked Cristalplant a suitable material to get the score VOC and BIO-BASED for certification of eco-sustainability at the international level. To date Cristalplant biobased product by Nicos International exclusively for three big names of Made in Italy: Agape, Antoniolupi and Falper. These realities, internationally known, in fact, produce many of their design objects by using this eco-friendly solid surface and exporting quality and Italian creativity worldwide.
