From 21 to 24 May, Xylexpo 2024, the biennial international exhibition of woodworking technology and the furniture industry, will take place in Milan, in pavilions 1 and 3 of Fiera Milano-Rho.
Promoted by Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of woodworking machinery and tools, the event, back on its usual May calendar, is once again set to be a reference point in the international panorama of trade fairs.
Ready for Industra 5.0
More than 260 exhibitors, 33% of them from abroad, will animate the approximately 25,000 square metres of exhibition space at the event, offering systems, solutions, products and technologies ranging from the very first processing to the most innovative finishing.
It will therefore be possible to learn about the state of the art of the international wood and furniture technology offer. "This is a particularly important opportunity," commented Dario Corbetta, director of the event, "in the light of the recent measures linked to Industry 5.0. As is well known, Italian companies will be able to take advantage of tax incentives that can reach up to 45 per cent of the investment, provided that this reflects certain characteristics in terms of digitalisation but above all - and here lies the novelty - of sustainability."
Xylexpo 2024 will therefore be an important moment both for exhibitors, who will have the opportunity to show how and to what extent their technologies are now up-to-date in terms of sustainability, and for visitors, who will in turn be able to learn about the new level of technology to which woodworking machinery is also called.
Eumabois: full support for Xylexpo 2024
Many leading woodworking technology players such as SCM, Felder, Naxing, KDT will be present at the fair. Numerous well-known German and international brands have also reaffirmed their trust in Xylexpo, an event that offers a comprehensive view of the world of woodworking, interpreting the evolution towards sustainability and digitisation.
Eumabois, the European federation of woodworking machinery manufacturers, has also confirmed its full support for the 2024 edition of Xylexpo. Luigi De Vito, President of Eumabois, stated that "Xylexpo, a leading international trade fair for our sector since 1968, has maintained its mission as a must-attend event for woodworking, where visitors from all corners of the globe can learn about technological innovations and find answers to their needs, despite the vicissitudes of these difficult years. A great opportunity for supply and demand to meet aimed at accelerating business dynamics in the Italian market, one of the largest in the world with an apparent consumption of 1,124 million euro and an increase of 7.8% over the previous year".
