Elleci, a historic Made in Italy brand specializing in the production of sinks, basins and design accessories for the kitchen and bathroom, presented several new products at Milan Design Week. Among these certainly stands out Mixology, the innovative workstation designed to meet the needs of two different and complementary worlds: cooking and bartending.
A multifunctional area
This novelty from Elleci is part of that path of enhancing the washing area that the company has been on for years, aiming to transform the sink into a multifunctional area in which all preparation activities converge thanks to cutting boards, trays and accessories that interact with the basin.
With the Mixology project, another decisive step forward is taken: in fact, the workstation elevates the sink to a protagonist of the kitchen environment, thanks to style, professional performance and sociability.
The home chef is joined by the figure of the home bartender, who finds in a single workstation everything he needs to prepare both food and drinks.
In fact, the impressive size of the new workstation and its ideal positioning on an island allow for both kitchen preparation tasks and the functionality of professional bartending stations.
An ideal workstation for public venues as well
Mixology is made of Keratek, the composite material with nanotechnology patented by Elleci for the kitchen environment that guarantees high performance in terms of beauty and resistance.
The workstation is inspired by the cocktail stations of professional bartenders and bartenders and is designed in compliance with all regulations and standards required in public food and beverage venues. For this reason, it can also be adopted in the Ho.Re.Ca channel by adding aesthetic value to the functionality proper to the professional set-up.
Like all Elleci workstations, Mixology is a functional design project that aims to optimize the use of space according to the guiding principles of ergonomics, rational organization and efficiency.
