For the fourth consecutive year Arpa Industriale was present at the Milan Design Week, the perfect setting to introduce the versatility of the company's innovations.
This year's project was “Transformaterials”, an interactive installation dedicated to the transformation of Fenix and Arpa HPL materials into furnishing elements. Curated by DWA Design Studio, the project was deliberately placed inside the Falegnameria Cavalleroni, an artisan atelier that represents a place of “transformation“ where the raw material becomes an element of furniture.
Values such as innovation, sustainability and durability combined with craftsmanship and Made in Italy have always been the basis of Arpa Industriale's corporate philosophy and have been told through a narrative path where visitors could interact with surfaces, shapes and finishes. The interactive centre of the exhibition was in fact the Libreria delle Forme, a space where guests could create, as in a game, new forms with modular elements made of Fenix and Arpa HPL.
Inside the Forms Laboratory, on the other hand, professionals/artisans carried out the processing of these materials live using CNC technologies, supplied by Biesse Group, the event's technical partner.

The Milan Design Week was also the occasion to present the new Kér finish, characterized by its exclusive tactility and technical performance, which enriches the textures of the Arpa HPL offer.
The colours of the Fenix range, the innovative material of Arpa Industriale, were also exhibited. This high-tech material is unique in its characteristics: extremely opaque, soft to the touch, anti-fingerprint and repairable in the event of surface scratches.
