Thanks to the partnership between BI-MU and Xylexpo, the two biennial events organized respectively by Ucimu-Sistemi per produrre, the association of Italian manufacturers of machine tools, robots and automation, and Acimall, the association of woodworking machinery manufacturers, a new exhibition project dedicated to manufacturing technologies will take place at FieraMilano-Rho from 12 to 15 October 2022.
The two fairs, international reference events in their respective sectors, therefore join forces and draw a new scenario in which operators will be able to meet skills, solutions, different ideas for a single goal: to produce in an increasingly sustainable and efficient way, according to the principles of “Industry 4.0“.
Two distinct but absolutely complementary events
The 33.BI-MU fairs, biennial of machine tools, robotics and automation, additive manufacturing, digital and auxiliary technologies, and Xylexpo, biennial exhibition of woodworking technologies and components for the furniture industry, will be presented as separate events, but absolutely complementary, enhancing their specificities and sharing every possible synergy.
On the one hand, this collaboration will allow exhibitors to expand their audience of potential visitors (the entrance to the fairgrounds will allow access to both events). On the other hand, it will offer visitors from the furniture, design, industrial plants, aluminum processing machines, composites and latest generation materials sectors, interested in both exhibitions, the opportunity to optimize their presence in Milan.
In addition to the wide technological offer, visitors will have at their disposal a rich program of collateral initiatives, in-depth analysis of technical, technological and economic issues common to the two sectors that will be proposed through presentations, seminars and conferences.
“This project - said Barbara Colombo, president of Ucimu-Sistemi per produrre - is much more than the sum of two historical and established trade fair events. We believe, in fact, that the approach of BI-MU and Xylexpo will allow the industry represented in the two exhibitions to express all its contents and potential at its best“.
Luigi De Vito, president of Acimall, also believes that “the collaboration between Xylexpo and BI-MU can only result in an innovative platform that will focus on “high technologies“ and the many profitable interactions they can generate, offering operators, exhibitors, institutions and stakeholders an engaging and successful experiential event“.
