The 45th edition of Ciff Guangzhou and CIFM/interzum Guangzhou, scheduled in Guangzhou from March 18 to 21 and March 28 to 31, is postponed to a date to be decided.
This was announced by the organizers of the events, the China Foreign Trade Guangzhou-Exhibition General Corp, through a dutiful message addressed to exhibitors and visitors of the important exhibitions that we publish here.
“Dear exhibitors, visitors and all stakeholders in the industry, as China is fighting a serious battle against the new coronavirus, epidemic prevention and control are the most important work in the country at the moment. Following the guidelines of the Chinese government to contain the virus, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce and the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce recently announced that all large-scale economic and trade events should be suspended. To ensure the health and safety of all participants, the organizers decided to postpone the 45th China International Furniture Fair (Guangzhou) (“CIFF Guangzhou“) and China International Furniture Machinery & Furniture Raw Materials Fair 2020 (“CIFM / interzum guangzhou“) to a date to be determined. The fairs were originally scheduled for March 18-21 and 28-31 in Guangzhou. The new date will be announced in due course. As a brand exhibition organized by the “national team“ of the Chinese exhibition industry, CIFF adheres to the principle of “putting exhibitors and visitors first“. Given the current situation of the new coronavirus in China, rescheduling trade shows to protect people's health and safety is an important and necessary decision to take. No matter how difficult it is, CIFF will, as always, remain at the side of the international furniture and furnishing industry. We firmly believe that through concerted efforts by exhibitors, visitors, associations and all stakeholders in the industry, making the most of its strength and improving the quality of the event, CIFF has full confidence and ability to develop into the world's first-class exhibition and create more value for the industry.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
