Sirius, a company that has been operating since 1996 in the field of ventilation and purification of domestic air, particularly kitchen range hoods, was also able to distinguish itself at FTK 2024 by perfectly combining design and technology capable of expressing the "industrial craftsmanship" that has always identified the brand.
Georgie: the ceramic wall hood
On the level of aesthetic and material research, a number of iconic products were presented, such as the hoods of the Deruta line, made entirely by hand by master ceramists in the Umbrian city of the same name, world-renowned for its refined ceramic work.
Georgie is the new wall-mounted hood conceived as a shelf, in which the front coating, handmade in ceramic, recalls the shape of a drape, giving the product elegance and lightness. The colors chosen also follow current kitchen trends: antique pink, olive green and taupe.
Ceramic, a classic, malleable material such that a variety of shapes can be made from it is then mixed with the most traditional of industrial materials, steel, complemented by the application of technology that promotes high performance.
Stone: a retractable hood
Stone, on the other hand, is the concealed hood capable of completely blending into the top of any type of kitchen. This allows the product to submerge completely inside the cabinet, being invisible when suction is not needed, and then emerge once in operation.
The other special feature of the Stone cooker hood is the presence of the anti-crushing safety system: if, when closing, the downdraft encounters an object, the magnetized front comes off. Available in 90cm and 120cm sizes with a body made of 304 stainless steel and a high-efficiency LED lighting, it can be installed in either an on-board motor version or a remote motor version by choosing from different types.
SuperHero: a built-in unit with an innovative system
Superhero is a built-in unit equipped with an innovative system, patented by Sirius, which allows autonomous and automatic operation of the product and is completely independent of the type of cooktop used. As soon as the hood senses the presence of objects on the cooktop, it turns on the light. As cooking starts, the hood activates and adjusts the suction power independently, constantly sensing both temperature and air quality.
DNA: suction top and downdraft together
DNA is the new downdraft suction top proposed by Sirius, whose name, not coincidentally, refers to the company's history, one of the first companies to give prominence to the downdraft hood, even patenting its system. Indeed, from 2005 to the present, Sirius has offered a conspicuous variety of downdrafts, different in shape, operation, lights, and pushbuttons.
This product combines the trend of the latest downdraft hobs with the technology and functionality of downdrafts: in fact, DNA works as a downdraft, capturing cooking vapors and fumes through the grid positioned flush with the induction hob, but also as a downdraft, which comes out thanks to the manual opening system, for better suction in case you cook with higher pots.
