Sigel group works in in the wooden furniture sector. The main activity is based on the ennoblement and on the distribution of wood panels, with particular reference to the chipboards, mdf, batons and plywood with laminated plastic, finishfoil, synthetic leaf, acrylic and patent laminated. Recent investments in the trials and in the industrial fittings, joined in the organization of the job, they have very positively engraved on the six-monthly budget recording +7% of billing in comparison to the preceding year and +18% in terms of volumes. At market level, in these first six months, in line with business objectives, a clean consolidation and strengthening in the strategic sectors occurred, for instance the recent partnerships worded by the Group with important players of the sector who see the discussion of projects for the long term future, too. An effective policy of expansion toward the foreign countries has sided by these important commercial liasons. It has seen the establishment of contacts with important realities of sector in countries as Turkey, Poland, France, Germany, Australia, United States and Africa; a policy of expansion that is also expressed with an approach to new segments of market. The Group in this first semester has also worked assiduously for the improvement of the logistic, too; in order to be able to make available a total flexible structure in market. It is capable of responding to all needs and evading also fractional orders, optimising the service to customer. Since June the Group has also made available a program Express, operating a selection of decoratives and structures always available in store ready for delivery, with timing of max 5 days after the confirmation of the order. The Group has also continued important investments in human resources, both in terms of formation, and in terms of implementation organic, selecting new collaborators who have brought added value to the activities of the firm and strengthened the efficiency of the various departments.
