From 9 to 14 April the pavilions of Fiera Milano Rho will host the 58th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, an edition full of presences and projects that sees over 205,000 square meters of net exhibition space and more than 2,350 exhibitors with a 34% of companies foreign exhibitors. Once again this year the show aims to shed light on the centrality of Milan, which continues to garner important international awards, and on the other, the creative capacity of the industrial network that works to offer the world excellence.The Manifesto of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, born in 2018 as an act of affection towards the city, is enriched with a new term “ingenuity“ strongly linked to the DNA of the event and the companies, brands and designers who have decreed the success, as well as being a tribute to the great Leonardo da Vinci five hundred years after his death.Five events will take place at the same time, from Tuesday 9th to Sunday 14th April, open to operators every day from 9.30am to 6.30pm, and on Saturday and Sunday also to the public: Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the Salone Internazionale del Complemento 'Furniture, divided into the Classic, Design and xLux styles; the two-year Euroluce and Workplace3.0 and SaloneSatellite. To these is added a completely new exhibition format, S.Project, a transversal space dedicated to design products and to decorative and technical interior design solutions.
Euroluce 2019: integrated and intelligent lighting
At its 30th edition, Euroluce, the International Exhibition of Lighting, with over 38,100 square meters of exhibition space divided into 4 pavilions (9-11 and 13-15) and its 421exhibitors (of which about 48% foreign) is confirmed as the leading international fair in the world of light. The protagonist of this edition will be an integrated lightingintelligent, more and more at the service of the project, capable of presenting new concepts of aesthetics.
Workplace3.0 2019: the new work space
Workplace3.0 returns with a new, diffused and transversal exhibition mode, which stages the evolution of the idea of the working environment, today more and more hybrid space between duty and pleasure, professional and personal. This new exhibition proposal authentically reflects the social transformation of the work area into a flexible and dynamic space, open to professional sharing and contamination with other daily activities.
S.Project 2019: a new multi-faceted space
S.Project is born inside the Salone del Mobile.Milano, a new multifaceted exhibition space dedicated to design products and decorative and technical interior design solutions. In total synergy with other events, S.Project will collect and enhance the proposals of companies to offer a 360-degree perspective on interior architecture and respond to new market needs. The tribute to Leonardo
Two large installations in the city and at the fair, curated by Marco Balich and Davide Rampello respectively, will be dedicated to Leonardo.
