Raukantex pigment is the new edging solution designed by the Rehau Furniture Solutions division to finish textured surfaces in an elegant and refined manner. 

Using an innovative formula, the new pigmented milling radius edging reproduces the aesthetic and tactile appearance of various textures, allowing for a finished component with a perfect frameless design that is extremely impact resistant.

An extremely durable edge

In interior design, there is an ever-increasing demand for stone, wood and concrete surfaces as well as for materials that are aesthetically beautiful but also durable and functional in everyday use. 

The new Raukantex pigment impact-resistant edge responds perfectly to these demands: the weight issues and susceptibility to splintering of natural materials are overcome thanks to the new formula that enables the edge to reproduce the visual and tactile effect, even in beveled areas.

In the zero joint effect version, Raukantex pigment edge also offers improved UV stability and eliminates the use of adhesives, and the resulting yellowing, ensuring excellent edge adhesion to the panel, for a perfectly smooth and polished surface, even when air-processed. 

A final frameless appearance can be achieved, for a transition from edge to panel that is virtually invisible to the eye and imperceptible to the touch because the milling radius itself is pigmented. Finally, when combined with laser processing technology, Rehau's new edging solution sets new standards for durability and quality.
