- Padding materials
ORSA foam, a pioneering company in the polyurethane foam sector, has been distinguished for years by its commitment to sustainable innovation.
The aim is to offer products that are always highly performing, but also ecologically responsible, promoting the circularity of materials.
Perfect examples of this commitment are two lines of polyurethane agglomerates and the RisOrsa® range of sustainable polyurethane fillings.
Polyurethane agglomerates in a circular economy perspective
Through its Rebound Division, ORSA foam has developed two lines of polyurethane agglomerates.
Agglomerate H is obtained from production by-products, valorising materials that would otherwise be discarded. On the other hand, agglomerate R is obtained by collecting and sanitising used mattresses at the end of their life, preventing them from being sent to landfill. This recovery and sanitisation process ensures that materials are reused in a safe, conscious and responsible manner, offering a circular-scale alternative to virgin materials.
RisOrsa® polyurethanes: for more sustainable production
The RisOrsa® range of expanded polyurethanes represents an important step towards more sustainable production. This innovative line contains a significant and externally certified percentage of polyols of vegetable origin (approximately 20%, variable depending on the product), thus reducing the use of polyols of fossil origin. All this without ever compromising on quality.
With a range of environmentally friendly products, ORSA foam thus proves that it is possible to combine high performance with an ecologically responsible outlook, paving the way for a more conscious materials industry.
