- Flexible polyurethane foam
ORSA foam has been one of the most important companies in the flexible polyurethane foam sector for years and is part of the Gruppo Orsa.
Born in Gorla Minore in the province of Varese in 1963 with the production of polyurethane foam, at the beginning of the '70s it also started the production of Tessuto Non Tessuto and in the '90s that of Auto components in the factories in Poland. The most significant turning point came in 2014 when five managers together with a group of investors acquired what is currently the Gruppo Orsa. The Gruppo Orsa is recognized as one of the most important companies operating internationally, a position that is based mainly on product innovation, quality and a wide range of types that can meet the most diverse applications and needs.
The widest range of products in the flexible polyurethane foam sector
ORSA foam boasts the widest range of existing products ranging from materials aimed at the world of industry to achieve soundproofing and thermal, the world of household with dishwashing sponges, the world of footwear with the famous memory insoles intended primarily for sports shoes, packaging, lingerie, and of course the world of Bedding and furniture for both indoor and outdoor.
ORSA foam is also the only company to have inside a department of agglomeration of polyurethane foam: this can certainly be considered an added value, in times when we rightly address the issues related to the Circular Economy.
The range of products also includes other materials aimed at the world of construction, sports such as underparquet for sports arenas, tatami and shockpad (shock absorbers) used in gyms and circuits in cars and motorcycles.
A curiosity, the last field of application, recently born, concerns animal husbandry: it has been discovered that cows, if they have a proper rest, produce more and better quantities of milk.
Quality, research and innovation
Product quality, research and innovation have always been considered by ORSA foam as strategic investments to differentiate themselves from the competition.
In the Technological Laboratory, research and experimentation are constantly carried out to obtain products capable of guaranteeing maximum safety, total reliability and the highest level of quality.
New formulations are studied and developed to satisfy every application need.
This is the case of some families of products with high added value born in recent years such as Breeze, a polyurethane foam synonymous with breathability, which guarantees a feeling of well-being ensuring a good rest.
