- Furniture movement systems
Omge, the historic manufacturer of mechanisms with a sliding or rotating movement, will be at Sicam 2023 again this year, where it will be presenting some interesting new products such as the new Swing 9322, a mechanism with a rototranslating movement that allows one surface perfectly superimposed on another to translate and rotate, overcoming the functional limits deriving from positioning at an angle or in contact with a wall. The two movements are combined in a single product, with the intention of creating space where there is no space and adding functionality to functionality.
Conceived by Omge with the furniture industry and the many possible applications in product design in mind, Swing allows for smooth and easy movement thanks to its rolling movement. Even in the case of heavy materials that exceed the standard load capacity of 120 kg, such as marble, granite, glass or Corian, the intermediate runner support allows for optimal functionality and smoothness.
Surf 4300 now also with optional Soft Closing
Another proposal from Omge is the Surf 4300 mechanism. A natural continuation of the 'Surf' line, designed for sliding kitchen countertops and tops with longitudinal, transverse or diagonal movement, the Surf 4300 mechanism now has a major upgrade with the optional 'Soft Closing' package.
A strong innovation process
These interesting innovations are evidence of the innovation process that Omge has been undertaking for some years now with the intention of broadening its commercial horizons, thanks to its confidence, commitment and perseverance in achieving its goals.
Constantly measuring itself against the various markets and their leading companies creates a baggage into which knowledge and experience flow and from which design and flexibility flow to allow, where possible, the customisation of products.
