Falmec, leader in the production of extractor hoods and air treatment solutions, presents Modula, a new extraction system integrated in the cooker hob that combines modularity with the practicality of a defined product.
Modula is a versatile solution that adapts perfectly to different needs in the kitchen thanks to the possibility of combining different cooking and suction elements that allow you to have a single product and not the union of different elements.
Modula: three possible configurations
Three possible configurations are proposed by Falmec, all placed inside an elegant stainless steel frame: M1, M2 and M3.
The first, M1, has a central suction body and two 38 cm induction hobs equipped with flex surface technology to adapt to pots of various sizes.
The M2 configuration is always characterized by the suction system positioned in the centre, flanked in this case by a 38 cm induction hob and teppanyaki plate, a technique of Japanese origin that allows healthy, uniform and precise cooking on the entire surface of the plate and ideal for cooking meat, fish and vegetables.
Finally, the third, M3, is composed of a double suction body, a 60 cm induction hob and the teppanyaki plate.
The Modula suction system, whatever the configuration chosen, also has many other advantages: easy installation, which does not require the connection between the various components chosen, simple cleaning, thanks to the absence of joints between the cooking and suction elements, perfect integration into the worktop and the system of electronic flaps integrated in the steel structure.
As always, the materials used are excellent: the induction hob is in black Schott glass ceramic, the perimeter frame and the suction flaps are in AISI 304 stainless steel with Scotch Brite satin finish.
The induction plane of the Modula system
Equipped with Flex Surface technology, the induction hob has 9 cooking levels and the Booster function; it acts uniformly on all the cooking zones that can be joined using different types and sizes of pots.
The suction flaps open automatically during operation and then close after use, perfectly aligning themselves with the cooktop. Modula can also count on a powerful 600 m3/h brushless motor which, together with the study of air flows and the use of insulating materials, guarantees high performance while reducing noise to a minimum.
Like all the other models in the Falmec range of integrated cooking systems (Sintesi, Quantum and Piano), Modula also has the exclusive Carbon.Zeo combined filter that combines zeolite and activated carbon, capable of retaining the odours produced in the kitchen and reducing the humidity generated by the cooking vapours. A new sub-base filter is also available, designed for installation on plinths with a minimum height of 6 cm, which are increasingly used in today's kitchens.
