The 50° Marmomacc edition, the most important Show dedicated to the business and to the marble culture, takes place in Veronafiere from the 30th September to the 03rd October. Growing International character, both on the exhibitor side (936 foreign companies) and on the commercial delegation side (11 countries more than 2014). Marmomacc proved as promotion global platform for the Italian stony export that, on the first six months of the year, grazed 1,6 million Euros. At the opening was present Enrico Zanetti, undersecretary of the Economy and Finance and Giorgio Squinzi, Confindustria President. Commercial delegations from 55 states, 11 more than the last year, 936 foreign companies on 1.524, coming from 55 countries in the world and with the debut of Albania, Bosnia Erzegovina, Camerun, Georgia and Venezuela; visitors from 140 countries. The stony division sees the Italian Industry among the protagonists of the global exchange: primacy confirmed also by data regarding the national export, spread by the Marmomacc-Confindustra Marmomacchine Observatory. In the first six months of 2015, Italian export have reached approx 1,6 million Euros, growing 5,2% for the finished and rough stony materials and 28,8% for the machinery field and for the extraction and processing technologies. The Marmomacc role as companies internalisation platform, this year, has been reinforced by the extraordinary promotion Plan for the Made in Italy by the Economic Development Ministry (MiSE), in collaboration with ICE-Italian Trade Agency and with Confindustria Marmomacchine, which has allowed to bring to the show two big delegations of 100 top buyers and 100 foreign architects, involved in b2b meeting, training courses and visits to the local companies. Thanks to the investments and to the activities to favour the incoming of the Veronafiera operators, for the first time is present to Marmomacc an institutional mission from Iran of the Industry Ministry, of the Commerce and Industrial Activities of the mineral sector. In formal visit a delegation of the Commerce Department of the Brazilian State of Vitoria, a 60 architects group from Rabat, Marocco, and delegates of some Egyptian top companies of the construction sector. Marmomacc takes place at the same time of Living the Time, the Veronafiere convention about interior design and contract.
