Craftsmanship and customisation

L'ASTRO® is a material produced entirely in Italy, completely by hand, by expert personnel. Each panel is a unique piece, the result of professionalism and time: around 40,000 Swarovski crystals per square metre are all positioned by hand, one by one, between two sheets of glass, with microscopic differences in the distances between them, in a typically artisanal process.

The customisation possibilities are endless: the design, the shape of the glass, the colours of the crystals, as well as various technical and functional details, can be customised according to the designer's needs. L'ASTRO®'s specialised technicians study the best solutions for each project to enhance the material's final aesthetic performance, taking into account the application context.

 

The best Swarovski® crystals for certified panels

For the production of L'ASTRO® panels, the brightest and most faceted crystals on the market were chosen: Xirius Rose Cut Swarovski® crystals. Inserted inside the glass panes, these crystals not only retain their brilliance, with reflections that vary according to the movement of light, but their elegance is also enhanced without being dazzling to the eye.

As a guarantee of the stones' authenticity, L'ASTRO® panels are accompanied by the seal "Crystals from Swarovski®", which features a sophisticated traceability system with a unique identification number.
