Design furniture and the most trendy contemporary kitchens are often characterized by throat openings, i.e. the absence of the handle, which is replaced by handle profiles that give the furniture a minimalist and clean surface, without interruptions. These are mounted directly between the fronts in the shell, becoming an integral part of the cabinet.
To meet these requirements Ostermann offers its handle profiles, or hollow handles as they are defined by the company, Polka 1, with L-profile, and Polka 2, with C-profile, in Deco variants with cement, oak and walnut effect.

With the new Polka 1 Deco and Polka 2 Deco handle profiles you can further customise the design of your furniture.  The new variants with the suffix Deco are characterized by the basic aluminium structure which is covered with an exclusive and elegant high-quality film with cement, oak and walnut effect in line with the trendiest trends in contemporary furniture. The new handle profiles can be combined with extra matt solid-colour doors and thanks to their linearity give the furniture a clean and rigorous look. Not only that, they also have a quick and easy fixing system.

The Polka range of handle profiles: extremely versatile

In addition to the new Deco variants with cement, oak and walnut effect, the Polka 1 and Polka 2 handle profiles are also available in the very latest colours black and white. The Polka range is also complemented by classic aluminium versions in stainless steel and anodised silver. Polka 1 and 2 can also be further enhanced with the black insert lighting designed specifically for this purpose: the pull-out lighting is equipped with an integrated contact switch that ensures gentle indirect lighting.

All 35 handle profiles are also available in a matt black finish.

Ostermann has in its extensive catalogue a wide range of handle profiles, or handles, about 35 different profiles; this has been expanded with a new matt black finish, also very trendy, to meet the needs of furniture manufacturers and craftsmen.
Ostermann customizes all of its handles from the stock assortment (bar items) according to customer specifications. The aluminium profiles are cut, processed and delivered ready for assembly.
