Grohe, a leading brand in the field of sanitary fittings and kitchen mixers, proposes the new Grohe Blue Home water system, an innovative and sustainable solution to have always fresh filtered drinking water directly from the sink mixer.
With Grohe Blue Home you can have still, slightly effervescent or sparkling water according to your taste and at the same time cool it to an optimal drinking temperature.
Grohe Blue Home: design and functionality
Grohe Blue Home combines form and function, combining all the advantages of a timelessly designed kitchen mixer tap and a sophisticated cold water dispenser.
Equipped with a simple and intuitive device, Grohe Blue Home allows you to calibrate the effervescence of the water at the touch of a button. By touching the mixer lever you get normal water, while pressing the illuminated and coloured LED button activates the filter to obtain chilled or sparkling water from the tap. The LED display also indicates when the cartridge needs to be replaced.
The set includes a Grohe Blue single lever tap and a low consumption refrigeration unit, which contains the filter and CO2 cylinder for the addition of carbon dioxide. This refrigeration unit can be placed in any cabinet with a width of at least 30 cm, so it can also be placed in kitchens where space is limited. The removal and replacement of both the filter and the CO2 bottle are very easy.
In order to have a mixer tap in harmony with the style of the kitchen, you can choose from a wide range of models with an elegant and refined design: the L, C and U-shaped spouts are available in chrome and SuperSteel-satin finish. The Grohe Blue Home system is also available in the removable mousseur version, for maximum functionality and flexibility.
If you already have a high-end tap in the kitchen that you do not want to replace, you can choose to add Grohe Blue Home Mono, a mixer tap with a very linear design that integrates perfectly into any room.
Grohe Blue Home for a smart and sustainable home
Grohe Blue Home can be controlled via smartphone app; thanks to the Grohe Ondus app, users are immediately informed if a filter or CO2 cylinder needs to be replaced. The app also simplifies reordering from the Grohe Blue Home online shop.
The Grohe Blue system was developed in collaboration with BWT, Europe's leading water filtration company, to create a high-performance water treatment system. This system is based on a five-stage filtration process developed to remove even the finest particles from tap water, without affecting all the essential minerals that have a positive effect on health.
Grohe Blue Home, in addition to its functionality and comfort, aims to create new trends for sustainable water use by drastically eliminating the use of plastic bottles. According to a study by the University of Göttingen, Grohe Blue Home saves up to 60% CO2 compared to bottled water. It also shows that a family of four people in Germany can avoid buying around 800 plastic bottles a year.
