Folder is Salice's new folding door system designed to allow, in both the linear and corner module, complete access to the interior of the cabinet while minimizing the footprint of open doors.

A versatile and functional system

A fusion of a hinged door system and a sliding system, Folder makes it possible to open compartments from 700 to 1500 mm. Extremely versatile and functional, the system can be mounted either on the top (Top version) or under the cabinet base (Base version). 

When opening, the two panels join and overlap each other and then automatically reach the point of maximum opening. The compartment is thus free from clutter, making it practical to open the internal drawers without the use of spacers. The opening and closing movement is automatic governed by silicone oil decelerators and a magnetic decelerator for maximum smoothness and silence.

A system for optimal space utilization

Folder is suitable for all types of furniture and rooms and can be applied anywhere you want to take advantage of a 180° door opening: it is a system particularly suitable for kitchen cabinets and wall units, as it optimizes space by offering complete access to interior compartments without the typical bulk given by doors with traditional opening. Also functional for pantry cabinets in its application on glass doors with aluminum profiles.

In the Top version, its extremely small footprint of only 35 mm also makes it ideal for niche applications.

A valuable partitioning system

In addition to the classic cabinet, Folder can also be used as a partition system between different rooms. Combined with glass doors with aluminum profiles, for example, it can separate the kitchen from the living room in a distinct and unobtrusive way, allowing natural light to circulate even with the doors closed.
