Abet Laminati presented at Sicam 2021 its latest news in an exhibition space designed for the occasion by Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni, design curators of the company: the Geo finish, the new Easy Meg system and the translucent laminate Diafos (in the picture). Alongside these novelties were also present the already known proposals such as Polaris and Metalleido solutions.
The Geo finish is characterized by its basic materiality and light rippling that recalls natural elements and, thanks to the alternation of rough and polished parts, emphasizes the three-dimensional effect of stone. Among the decors on display there were also other new proposals that always recall the world of stone, ideal solutions for the kitchen environment.
Easy Meg is the new easy and ready-to-use system for the creation of external facades. This proposal dedicated to facades, easy to install and low maintenance, is designed to last. Available in three different fixing systems: Closed Joint, Open Joint and Overlapping.
Finally, Diafos, the first translucent laminate with three-dimensional decoration, awarded the Compasso d'Oro and produced for the first time in 1987 by Abet Laminati, is now available in a new version, with new sizes and colors thanks to the contribution of design curators Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni.
The company's stylistic and technical research has given rise to Polaris, an innovative surface that is warm and soft to the touch, highly resistant to scratching and heat, and anti-fingerprint. This latest generation product is already a reference point for designers looking for new solutions.
Metalleido's structural solutions have been designed to combine the strength and lightness of the panels with the functionality and elegance of the surfaces; an example of this are the composite panels Esacore and Monocore consisting of a super light core, respectively in aluminum and fiberglass, intended for the realization of furniture components, kitchen tops, ceilings, walls and floors.
In the last period Abet Laminati has completed a major investment and development plan that has also involved digital printing: in fact, a new digital printer capable of producing up to 400 square meters per hour of sheets up to a maximum width of 1,860 mm has arrived at the headquarters in Bra. The new Abet Digital Factory offers spaces, equipment and workstations dedicated to customers and offers a tailor-made service and many solutions, from the printing subject to the surface finishing, ensuring maximum flexibility in the realization.
