Atim Spa, a leading company in the production and design of slides and sliding mechanisms for the furniture industry, has acquired PM Aluproget srl, a company that manufactures mechanisms for aluminum extending tables, creating the new Atim Group.
The new company unites and expands the skills of both companies in the processing of aluminium and in the creation of high quality solutions 100% Made in Italy. The union of the two entrepreneurial realities allows to put in place an even stronger team with resources and production capacity able to successfully respond to the new opportunities offered by the world of design.
Atim and PM Aluproget: same history, same values
Atim and PM Aluproget have a common history and values. Both companies were founded about 25 years ago and both have managed to meet challenges and reinvent themselves over the years, expanding their operations to new sectors and markets. Atim and PM Aluproget have been able to establish over time a deep relationship with their customers, positioning themselves as true partners thanks to their high technical expertise and ability to provide professional advice.
The two companies, which gave birth to the new Atim Group, are constantly investing in the evolution of their operations and services to keep pace with the needs of the market. Atim Group expands its offer
With the purchase of PM Aluproget, Atim Group now has two production plants, one located in Settimo Milanese (MI) and the other in San Giorgio in Bosco (PD). Thanks to the merger of professional portfolios, the group expands its offer to new sectors: from the furniture industry to the transport sector. In addition to the well-known aluminium profiles and structures for designer furniture, the Transformables and sliding systems for doors already produced in Atim, the range of mechanisms for extendable tables will be extended and frames and structures for the railway sector will also be produced.
Atim Group: direction and operations
Atim Group's registered office remains at the Settimo Milanese offices, with Stefano Del Prete as CEO, supervising the work of both production units. “The merger between Atim Spa and PM Aluproget marks an important moment in the history of our company - said Stefano Del Prete. After the blockade due to the Covid-19 emergency, since April 27th the two production units have been operational again, in compliance with the safety criteria indicated by the Italian government, with the enthusiasm and passion that have always distinguished them.
