The assembly and installation of furniture are fundamental operations that require the intervention of specialised professionals with extensive experience in the sector and qualified figures. In order to meet this need, Würth, a leading company in the distribution of fastening and assembly products and systems for the entire furniture industry, and Federmobili, the national trade association of furniture shops, have signed a collaboration agreement for the assembly and installation of furniture.
A partnership that enhances the quality of the Made in Italy workforce
Thanks to the partnership with Federmobili, Würth puts its know-how at the disposal of interior designers and all the craftsmen of the wood industry in order to spread the techniques of assembly and installation of furniture, and thus enhance the quality of the Made in Italy workforce.
The agreement provides for the training of the various players in the woodworking and furniture supply chain to promote durability, quality and process control in order to protect the end customer, as well as to increase innovation and the performance of the offer.
This collaboration also aims to promote initiatives for meetings and the sharing of experiences between construction companies, suppliers and furniture shop operators in order to enhance skills and make people understand the importance of a customised, high-quality supply of furniture and finishes.
Federmobili: the importance of laying and fitting furniture
With this agreement, Federmobili is consolidating its commitment to training its members' delivery and installation personnel. In fact, the association is aware that consultancy, planning, after-sales and all the services provided by furniture shops can be called into question if the installation and assembly of furniture is not carried out with the appropriate skills, preparation, training and use of installation products.
“For Würth it is an honour to enter into this partnership with Federmobili, as it represents a partner of excellence in strategically combining process players, customer needs and technological tools for the enhancement of the wood supply chain“ - said Ivo Thaler, Head of Würth Italy Wood Division. The aim is to provide specific expertise in furniture assembly to meet the needs and expectations of the end customer.
