The Gruppo Industriale Buoninfante, a historic Italian manufacturing company in the mattress sector, took part in Fuorisalone 2024 in its showroom in Foro Buonaparte 54 with Matrex Natura, an immersive experience to discover the first elements of Nature (Water, Fire, Earth, Air) that inspired and underpinned the technology that gives life to the "X-BIO Circulife" mattress and the X-BIO line. 

A new model of circular consumption 

Matrex Natura synthesises in its name the union between Nature and Technology, one understood as the source of inspiration and origin of all things (mater), the other as the point of arrival of human ingenuity and the structure of contemporary reality (matrix).

"An immersive journey," explains Enzo Buoninfante, CEO of Gruppo Industriale Buoninfante, "that takes the visitor from the origins of nature to a future that is already reality. A concept that also proposes a new model of circular consumption, beyond the traditional produce-consume-throw-away scheme, in which Matter-Nature is not wasted after use, but returns, in a new form, to be used again and again. A model that redefines the limits of the production matrix." 

Synthesis of technology and sustainability 

The journey through the four elements begins with a celebration of the earth, the protagonist of the first room; the visitor then "plunges" into the evocative water room, rediscovering its dual role as source of life and purifying element.

The vital power of fire, centre of the universe and primordial force that illuminates and warms the spirit, dominates the third room before arriving at the last, the air room, where the atmosphere becomes dreamlike. Here the visitor discovers the synthesis of technology and sustainability: ingenuity, research and technical know-how give life to the mattress, a product for everyday use designed to provide comfort, well-being and quality rest.
